Rental Policy

 

 

Grace United Church is pleased to offer it's facilities for your next meeting or event.

However, the following rental rates do not apply to weddings. If you are interested in having your wedding at Grace United, please call the office for further details or to arrange an interview with the Minister.

The facilities include the sanctuary which seats 150 or 180 with the balcony , and the Church Hall which seats 115.

The rental rate for either the sanctuary or the hall is $50 per part day, $100 per full day and $200 per week, including the use of coffee maker, kettles and refrigerator.

Our kitchen is also available at an additional cost of $50 per part day and $100 per full day. Rental of the kitchen includes use of the stove, dishes, cutlery, and dishwasher. The Church will provide a qualified person to assist with the operation of the dishwasher.

The following policies apply to all rentals:

1. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

2. A refundable deposit of $50 is required for the supply of a key to the Church.

3. Full Payment is due on the day of your event.

4. The renter will provide a copy of an Insurance waiver naming Grace United Church as a co-insured.

Non-profit groups wishing to use the Church's facilities on an occasional basis may have the rental fee waived. Church members will not be charged for scheduled private functions.

How to Book our Facilities

Please call or email the Church office with details of your event and our rental agent will contact you to discuss your requirements and arrange a tour of the facilities. A "Request for Facilities" form must be completed before a date can be confirmed. Once your application is approved, your planning can begin!
